Lindenwood Dove Tree

Started in 2000, the Dove Tree has become a favorite church-wide ministry project allowing families and individuals to share with others at Christmas.

Gifts are given to foster children in Meritan's Stepping Stones, a state-sponsored program in Memphis.  These are special needs children who are considered "medically fragile" and are not served by other Christmas gift-giving organizations.  Dove Tree provides a list of wants and needs for each child, and your gifts are collected at Lindenwood and delivered by social workers and nurses.

Lindenwood provided gifts for 85 children in 2008 and for 115 children in 2009.  Information on how you can participate in 2010 will be posted here as Christmas approaches.
