Introduction to Lindenwood
 
Join the Lindenwood pastors for lunch, conversation, and a tour of the church where you will learn all about Lindenwood Church and its ministries.
Introduction to Lindenwood is held on the last Sunday of each month from 12noon-2pm in the Bell Conference Room.
     
 
Class 101 (Membership)
 
This four hour class will introduce you to the Christian faith as lived-out at Lindenwood Christian Church and inform you how you can deepen your faith journey by becoming involved in small groups, ministry, and worship. The host gives a brief overview of Christian beliefs as well as a quick tour through the Bible so you can begin your faith journey immediately!
 
Also outlined are Lindenwood's expectations for its members - that they grow to discover and develop their spiritual gifts!
     
 
Class 201 (Maturity)
 
The four cornerstones of growing in faith are: WORSHIP, PRAYER, STUDY, and STEWARDSHIP. In this four hour class, participants will examine closely how each of these areas are important to developing your relationship with God.
     
 
Class 301 (Ministry)
 
Discover your Spiritual Gift! The discussions in this four hour class reveals how God has gifted you specifically for ministry. It is important to know what your spiritual gifts are so in this class you will have the opportunity to take the Mels Carbonels Spiritual Gifts Inventory. This inventory will help you learn how you can best become involved in a ministry at Lindenwood and serve God through the talents and abilities God has given you!
     
 
Class 401 (Mission)
 
Live out your Spiritual Gift! We discuss living out everyone's primary task as a Christian - to spread the good news of Jesus Christ by sharing your faith with others. People share their faith by telling their own story about how God has changed their life. They may also share their faith by living out their spiritual gifts in a specific ministry that serves the needs of others.
 
This four hour class will help you know how you might best live out your faith in ministry to others.
     
 
Bible Study @ Lindenwood
 
Bible Study @ Lindenwood offers many unique opportunities for Bible Study. Some explore a specific book of the Bible. Others begin with life or history or culture and look to the Scripture for insight and understanding.

Some course offerings are ‘hands-on’ with opportunities for participants to explore the topic on their own terms. Some seminars will feature lots of time for group discussion.

Join some of Lindenwood’s best teachers for lively learning at its best. There is no registration charge for any Bible Study @ Lindenwood Class. We encourage you to invite or bring family members, friends and colleagues from work. The greater the participation the better the learning opportunity.
